Lloyd Anderson of Oakwood enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on November 17, 1942. He was promoted to Leading Aircraftsman after training at Manning Depot #1, Toronto. L.A.C. Anderson was moved in Canada to Rockcliffe Park Ont., Brandon, Man., Rivers, Man., and Vancouver B.C.
His service earned for him the award C.V.S.M.
Lloyd Anderson was given his discharge from the R.C.A.F. on November 30, 1945.

Previous to his war service Lloyd Anderson was employed as a machinist. He is welcomed back to this district.
