Full Text
PO. W.E. Betts, just returned from overseas after completing a tour of 40 hops including D-Day raiding, called at the Post this afternoon and in the course of an interview which will be carried in these columns tomorrow, stated, when asked if he could say a few words about the Robot Bomb menace, in view of the display which is coming here tomorrow, You can say that the D-Day landings weren’t the means of forestalling more serious results from these weapons and if success had not been met with it might have proven a far worse menace to England.
