L.A.C. Eldon R. Deacon enlisted in the R.C.A.F. on 29 August 1943.



He was posted in Calgary as Service Police until February 1944. He was then moved to Shilo (Manitoba), to take a Dispatch Rider’s Course. On 5 April 1944, L.A.C. Deacon left for England. He has been serving in France since 20 June 1944.


L.A.C. Eldon Deacon’s parents reside at 98 Colborne St. W. Lindsay, Ontario.
