Description:
O.K. Eason is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eason of Norland, Ontario. Orval received his education in White School (Public School) near Kinmount. He enlisted in February 1943 in Peterborough, Ontario and was immediately posted to Cornwall for a short period. From there he was transferred to Camp Borden in Ontario for eight months training. In February of 1944 he was posted overseas and was stationed somewhere in England for a period before leaving for France and Belgium. He then served somewhere with the Canadian forces in Holland.
