Dairyman – enlisted August 6/40 in the Army, trained at Lindsay, Ottawa, Sussex (N.B.), Niagara, Edmonton, Prince Rubert, B.C. – went overseas 14 May 1943 and saw enemy action in north west Europe, signaler – transferred from 1st Midland Regt. to Royal Canadian Artillery.
He arrived home 3 September 1945 and received his discharge 9 October 1945.
