Lindsay Boy Captures Two German Prisoners

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Eggleton of King St., received word that their son John had captured two German prisoners in some unstated battle. Pte. Eggleton stated that he had not shaved nor washed for three or four weeks and apparently when the German soldiers saw him they thought he was an Indian and threw up their arms and allowed him to take them prisoners.

Pte. Engleton joined the armed forces in 1942 and has been in England now for a period of six months.

Mr. and Mrs. Eggleton have two other sons in the service, David, also in England and George in England.
