Learns son is casualty

Mrs. Wm. Gendron received the sad news on Tuesday that her son Melville had been killed in action.

Melville has been overseas five years and would have been due for a leave home. He leaves a wife and a son, as well as his mother and one brother and three sisters. The family will have the heartfelt sympathy of the whole community.
