Five Veterans return aboard morning train

Friends and relatives were on hand this morning to welcome home several Lindsay boys who arrived on the 11:35 A.M. C.N.R. passenger train.


Cars were gaily decorated and everyone was excited and happy as their long absent loved ones stepped from the coaches.


Among those who returned this morning were: Cpl. W.A. Armstrong, 149 Kent St.; Tpr. L.J. Roche, 48 Regent St.; Tpr. J.L. Shannon, 12 Simcoe St., Lindsay; Gnr. G. Wakeling, 90 Durharn St.; and Chas. Growden, also of Lindsay.
