PO Ralph Hanbidge, who was reported missing on active service after air operations January 8, is now for official purposes presumed dead. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hanbidge, R.R. No. 1, Omemee. He was employed in the structural steel department, C.G.E., at the time of his enlistment. A brother, Errol Hanbidge, is serving with the R.C.N.V.R.
