Rfm. Jack Jacobs killed in Invasion

Rifleman Jack Jacobs, 19, at first reported missing following the invasion has been officially listed as killed in action. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jacobs, of Eden – nine miles north of Lindsay. Rfmn. Jacobs enlisted with the Queen’s Own Regiment and trained at Orillia and Camp Borden. Born and raised in Eden, he was active in skating and skiing groups and was a member of Eden United Church. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters and three brothers. One sister is Airwoman Merle Jacobs, R.C.A.F., Dunnville.
