Capt. James A. Kennedy enlisted for active service 1 September 1939 as a Lieutenant. He trained at Petawawa, Ont., Tracadie and Sussex N.B. Capt. Kennedy proceeded overseas in November 1941. He served with the army in England, France and Belgium. He was promoted to his present rank in 1943. His home is in Lindsay, Ont. Capt. Kennedy served for a three year period in World War I.
