Young local Veteran back on the job

Another of Lindsay’s young veterans, Carl “Tony” Kent has again taken his place in the community life working for the CNR after an absence of nearly two years, while serving with the Canadian forces.

Carl joined the RCNVR about two years ago, serving as a writer at Halifax and Bermuda. He received his discharge on Nov. 2nd of this year. At present he is employed by the CNR checking freight cars in the yard at night and selling tickets in the morning.

The townspeople of Lindsay join with the Post in wishing all veterans the best of luck in re-establishing themselves.
