Description:

John Everson LeCraw, born in Toronto on 8 June 1922. He received his Public School education in Norland. He then served a five year apprenticeship in the Gazette printing office at Fenelon Falls, Ontario. He signed up for Active Service in the Armoured Corps in June of 1942 and trained at Orillia and Camp Borden going overseas in March 1943/ He transferred to the Grenadier Guards, 22nd Armoured Regiment and has been with the Canadian 1st Division since 25 July 1943. He continued to serve in Holland.
