Capt. B.C. Maidens enlisted on 21 April 1942 in the Royal Canadian Artillery and trained at Petawawa and Debert, proceeding overseas in August, 1943. He was promoted from Lieut. to Capt. In December, 1942. He saw enemy action in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He served with the 6th A-Tk Regt., 2 A.Tk. Regt., 2 Div. H.Q. RCA. He arrived home 22 October 1945 and received his discharge 3 December 1945.
