Sgt. R.L. Bob Muir badly injured

Word was received this morning by his mother, Mrs. W.E. Muir, 18 Cambridge St. S., that Sgt. R.L. (Bob) Muir, is in a military hospital overseas as the result of serious injuries to his head and legs.

Bob went active with the 56th Battery in April 1942, when that reserve unit in Lindsay received word to go active. He has been overseas some 9 months with the unit.

Sgt. Muir’s father is in a military hospital in Canada after spending 4 years over in England.
