Lindsay girl honoured before leaving town

Miss Jean Munt presented with ring bearing Air Force crest

Miss Jean Munt St. Peter St., Town, was the guest of honour one evening recently when a dance and presentation was held for her in the Town Hall.

Jean’s many friends and acquaintances around town gathered to honour her prior to her enlistment in the Woman’s Division of the RCAF and presented her with a ring bearing the Air Force Crest, the presentation being made by the Misses Eva Dettman and Pauline Pinney.

Jean very graciously expressed her appreciation of the gift and the good will of her friends.

Tommy Langley’s Orchestra provided the music for the dance.
