Colin E. MacMillan whose home is RR2 Woodville enlisted for service with the Canadian Army on 1 September 1941.


He joined the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps with the rank of Private. He trained in Canada at Peterborough, Barriefield Cam, and Halifax prior to embarkation. C.E. MacMillan was twice promoted: to Corporal 22/07/42 and to Sergeant 20/08/42.


He went overseas on 5 August 1942.
