Description:
LAC Watson W. Puterbaugh his education at Norland Public School and Lindsay Collegiate Institute. He enlisted with the RCAF in August of 1941 and entered the school for Aeronautics at Galt Ontario where he obtained his trade. Graduating from here in January 1942 he was posted to Toronto for a short period and then was transferred to St. Thomas (Ont) where he was stationed for a period of six months. In August 1942 he was posted to Dunnville (Ont) where he worked as an Aero-engine mechanic.
