Trooper L.J. Roche enlisted 1 February 1942, and trained at Peterborough and Camp Borden proceeding overseas on 23 April 1942 where he served in the UK, Central Mediterranean and Continental Europe. He arrived home on 4 October 1945 and was discharged on 9 November 1945.
