C.J. Sheehy joined the Canadian Army on 15 September 1942. He received his training at Brantford, Ontario and at Camp Borden. He was a military transport driver.


Pte. Sheehy left this country for overseas on 15 June 1944. He has served with the army in Belgium, Holland and in Germany.


In May of 1945, he was serving with the 19th Canadian Field Regiment, RCASC.
