Keith N. Sisson of West Guilford enlisted for service with the Canadian Army on 9 August 1940. He entered the ranks fo the 45th Regiment at Lindsay and had the rank of Private. Pte. Sisson trained at Lindsay, Ottawa, St. John, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Allenburg, Chippawa, Edmonton, Prince Rupert, Vancouver, and Kingston. Pte. Sisson was in the service until 14 May 1943, when he received his honourable discharge. He was not privileged to serve outside Canada but did his duty in many centres within its borders. Employed in general work before his enlistment, Keith Sisson is welcomed back to his home-district.
