Description:
Corporal Murray R. Spear, C-53085, enlisted at Peterborough in June 1940 with the Glengarries and trained in Canada until 5 August 1941. He went overseas and was in England until he landed in France on D-Day. He was wounded in September and returned to an English hospital where he is at present (8 November 1944). M.R. Speer was among the many veterans who registered at the Reception and Reunion held in Lindsay on Saturday 19 January 1946.
