Gunner Gordon Hughes arrived home on April 23. He has been in active service in Belgium previous to returning home.


Burnt River welcomes their first war bride, in the person of Mrs. Gordon Hughes, coming from Oldham, Lancashire, England. She arrived on Friday, April 20th, and was met and welcomed by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Gerald Hughes, a representative of the Red Cross Unit here.
