A Very Pretty Wedding
At 8 o'clock Thursday morning, at the
Cambridge-st. Methodist church, there was
enacted an event which chages the
course of two young lives-Miss Vina L.
Earle, of Lindsay, was united in marriage
to Mr. J.J. Bemrose, of Bradford. The
bride looked smart in her going-away
gown, and entered the church on the arm
of her brother, Mr. W.E. Earle, of St.
Johns, N.B. Miss Beatrice Thompson, of
Bradford, an intimate friends of the bride,
was maid of honor, while Miss Josie
Staples, of Lindsay, was bridesmaid.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful costumes
of bluette covered cloth and large picture
hats to match. Dr. L. W. Campbell, of
Bradford, acted as groomsman. The
ushers were Mr. Gerald Pearson, of New-
market, and Mr. W. Crawford, of Lindsay.
The ceremony was performed by Rev.
Thos Manning, assisted by Rev. M.P.
Talling, of St. James Presbyterian church,
London. Only invited guests were admit-
ted to the church. The happy couple left,
under showers of sweet peas and roses, on
the 9:15 train for the Muskoka lakes,
where their honeymoon will be spent
