Remember when:

*Before the introduction of Velcro, folks knew how to tie shoe laces?

*When folks, wanting to know the correct time, would merely pick up their telephone receiver and ask the operator. They were always happy to oblige.

*"Charlie" Lee proprietor of Lee's Dairy was the first milkman to install rubber tires on his milk wagon. Lindsay Creamery soon followed suit and it soon became the norm for all dairies. In no time at all bakery wagons were next to catch on and thus we only heard the clip, clop of the horses' shoes.

*Ladies believed that if they didn't do a thorough housecleaning prior to New Year's they would have a filthy house in the coming year.

*We learned that:

We squander Health

In search of Wealth

We scheme and toil and save;

Then squander Wealth

In search of Health,

And all we get a grave.

We live and boast of what we own

We die and only get a stone.
