- This picture, taken in 1908, shows a horse drawn coach but none of the people in the photo are identified. A digital copy of this photo was provided by Marylou Hall as part of a presentation on her family.
- The following comment accompanies the photo in the presentation:
”When a vote was taken, it was decided the fire was over and nothing more could be done, so on with the trip. What stands out most in my memory were the Plains of Abraham, where Wolfe and Montcalm fought. Returning home I remember riding on the steps of the horse drawn coach from Mariposa Station to the house. The rig had curtains which rolled up and down according to the whims of the weather. It was a stunning sight even for my young eyes to see the even yet smoking remains of Little Britain. Now for the task of rebuilding.” George C.R. Hall.
