- Item Type
- This was Dr. George C.R. Hall's car that he built at home in 1916. A digital copy of this photo was provided by Marylou Hall as part of a presentation on her family.
- Dr. George C.R. Hall had an interest in automobiles throughout his life. When he was 15 years old he rebuilt his dad’s old car using a box as a seat. A driver’s license was not necessary, and the car only traveled a few miles-- usually to a swimming hole at Davidson dam where George C.R. Hall pursued his pastime of fishing for mudcats.
