Description:
A letter from a Rochester television station in reply to a letter from Dr. George C.R. Hall reporting on his television reception from their station. A digital copy of this photo was provided by Marylou Hall as part of a presentation on her family.
Notes:
Although the number of TV channels were few, Dr. George C.R. Hall was able to watch a channel from Rochester, New York. In a letter from WHAM Rochester to Dr. Hall, “Thank you for your report of reception of our TV station. We have received many reports from the north shore of Lake Ontario, extending inland about 50 miles.”
