- Dr. George C.R. Hall’s car in picture. During the 1940s there were no snow tires, rather chains were wrapped around the tires. Dr. Hall often travelled to his patients in adverse weather. His sons, Terence or Warner would often go with their dad late at night to shovel the car out while the doctor visited his patients.
