Scugog River Side-wheelers

Scugog River Side-wheelers tie up at the Wharf in what is now McDonnell Park to unload passengers and cargo. In the background to the right are log booms, vast piles of stored lumber, Beal’s Tannery and the Wellington Street Bascule Bridge (built 1912, scrapped 1958).
