The Cleveland Leader of recent date con-

tained the following wedding notice. Since

the bride formerly lived in this town and

the groom is an old Eldon boy the particu-

lars of their marriage will be of interest to

many of our readers. The Leader's notice

is as follows: "One of the prettiest autumn

weddings took place on Sept. 27th at the

residence of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Barker, 18

Linwood-st. Cleveland, Ohio, when their

niece Miss Welhelmina Barker was united

in marriage to Mr. W. C. Campbell of

Cleveland. The marriage ceremony was

performed in the drawing room, which

was profusely decorated with palms, ferns

and cut flowers. Dr. Louis Albert Banks

of the First Methodist Episcopal church

officiated, assisted by Dr. T. H. McMichael

of the First Presbyterian church. The

bride entered the drawing room at 6 o'clock

sharp, on the arm of her uncle, to the

strains of Mendelsohns' wedding march,

and looked charming in a gown of white

taffeta silk. She was there found by the

groom and his best man, the Rev. F. W.

Davis of Collingwood, Ohio. The bride

was attended by her half-sister, Miss Louise

Bain of Lindsay, Ont. The marriage was

strictly private and was witnessed by the

following guests: Mr. and Mr. Jas. Barker,

Rev. Dr. and Mrs. McMichael, Rev. L.A.

Banks, Mrs. Fred Taylor, Mr. John E.

Ashman, Mr. Harry Nicholson, Miss Jennie

Barker. A wedding supper was served

immediately after the ceremony for the

bridal party, and was followed by a recep-

tion from 8 to 11, about 50 guests respond-

ing. The young couple left the same even-

ing for their home at 684 Hough Ave.,

which was all in readiness, and will be at

home to friends after Nov. 1st."
