AGRICULTURAL MEETING.--The directors of the Somerville Agricultural Society met in McIntyre's hotel on the afternoon of the 17th inst., and most of the members in office were present. The minutes of the last meeting having been read and approved, the prize list was the next thing considered, and that of last year was adopted with some slight changes. The judges were the chosen as follows:--For cattle and horses, Jno. Simpson, Bobcaygeon, Rob't Cliff, Cambray, and George Manning, Fenelon Falls. For sheep, pigs &c., Issac G. Moynes, Fenelon, Henry Reazin, Cambray, and Eli Hillier, Somerville. For grain, roots and butter, Charles Sproul, Cannington, -- Shields, Victoria Road, and Joseph McArthur, Fenelon Falls. For ladies' work, Mrs. Upton, Coboconk, Mrs. T. Watson, Somerville, and Mrs. S. Swanton, Rosedale. It was decided that the exhibition be held on the first day of October, as usual, and the secretary, Mr. Wm. Cookman, was instructed to send due notice of their appointment to the judges, all of whom will, it is hoped, find it convenient to attend.
