Killed While Duck Hunting. James Maurice Thurston, 20 years of age, son of Samuel Thurston, Dunsford, was accidentally short at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning and succumbed to his injuries at 6 o'clock the same evening. The unfortunate young man was taking hi shotgun out of his canoe at Kennedy's what after the morning shoot, and forgetting that it was loaded pulled it towards him by the muzzle. The trigger caught and the charge struck his left forearm and left shoulder, severing an artery and inflicting other terrible wounds.
