The ladies of Fenelon Falls met in the lecture room of St. Andrew's Church on Wednesday and organized a society for the purpose of relieving distress and adding to the comfort of our soldiers in the present war. Canvassers for contributions were appointed. Mrs. Lord was elected President ; Miss McArthur First Vice-President ; Mrs. Brandon Second Vice-President and Mrs. French Secretary.
