TO BE TESTED.--The legality of the "butcher by-law," as it is called, is to be tested, Mr. John D. Naylor having been summoned to be an appear before a magistrate on Monday next for selling prohibited mutton in this municipality. Mr. Naylor laughs at the by-law, which he says cannot be sustained; and if he succeeds in defeating it he will make nineteen-twentieths of the villagers laugh too.
