Description
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit issued Class Section 22 Order on April 14 requiring that anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, considered a probable case or who has come in contact with a confirmed case, to self-isolate in their home for 14 days.
Anyone failing to do so can be fined up to $5000 a day by the court at the health unit's request.
