With Ontario's public health officials now projecting up to 7,000 daily COVID-19 cases in Ontario by the end of December 2020, the Ontario government lowered its thresholds of its colour-coded system for public health unit regions and moved additional health units into more restrictive levels.

As of publication, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit region was coded 'Green'.
