Enlisted March 10, 1916 with 229th Battalion and transferred to 46th Battalion.

Roman Catholic.

Born October 25, 1894 in Weisenburg, Woolwich Township and educated at S.S. No. 10, Woolwich.

Single.

He was discharged January 28, 1919 as medically unfit. While on service he received a gun shot wound in the stomach.

He is now living in Melville, Saskatchewan but his mother, Mrs. J. Rider lives on R.R. No. 1, West Montrose, Ontario.
