Shelley, Percy W.

Private.

He enlisted at Toronto January 15th, 1916 in the 134th Battalion Highlanders. He trained at Exhibition Camp, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Camp Borden. Left for overseas August 9th, 1916 on the S.S. Scotia and reached Liverpool after a ten days trip.

While in England he trained at Bramshott for two months, and at Whitly for a year and a half. He crossed over to France February 27th, 1918 with the 15th Battalion Highlanders and saw active service at Arras, Cambrai as Signaller. Crossed the Rhine into Germany at Cologne, and spent six weeks there, and afterwards he stayed for a period of two months in Belgium. He then returned to England and spent another five weeks at Bramshott, sailing for Canada with the 15th Battalion Highlanders on the S.S. Baltic April 19th, 1919.

His home is at 37 Cameron Street North, Kitchener.

He attended the Kitchener Collegiate Institute from 1909-1911.

Baptist. He is in the employ of the Bell Telephone Company, Kitchener.
