A white index card containing name, rank and military history of a soldier of Waterloo County. Card also contains a red cross.
Notes
Private John Gerbig was born on October 4th, 1887. He lived at 29 Brubacher St., Kitchener, Ontario. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Gerbig. John Gerbig was a member of the 18th Battallion.

Private Gerbig died on December 20, 1915 at the age of 28. He was buried at Ridge Wood Military Cemetary in Belgium.
