Black and white photograph of people gathered in front of the Blair train station to watch Fred Milatz dynamite the ice house, just below the Blair bridge in March 1898. The crowd is a mixed group of children, adults, and older adults.
Notes:
The demolition proved futile. Nature had taken its course; heavy rain had moved the ice house down the river over the Galt dam down to Lake Eve.
