There are three men in civilian clothes sitting in the middle of this group. Undated but probably taken 1895-1897 (see comment below from Kevin Sherlock).

"Undated but probably taken in the 1920s. I believe that this photo is more likely c1895-1897. One reason I say this is that my Great Grand Uncle Charlie Sherlock died in 1917.
