HUGGINS, JENNIE (JEAN) On Sunday, August 20, 1989 at Niagara Hospital, Niagara-on the Lake. Jennie Huggins was 94.

Wife of the late Arthur Edward Huggins (1987), mother of Mrs. William B Lantz (Elizabeth), Williamsburg. Pennsylvania, and the late Ruth Marie Hughes, mother in law of James W Hughes of Kitchener, grandmother of Robert, Marney, Tracy and Daryll Hughes, and Jane, Sara and John Lantz.

Resting at the funeral chapel of Hetherington and Deans, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls for service in the chapel on Wednesday, August 23 at 1 pm. Interment will take place in Lundy's Lane Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Niagara Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

Mrs. Huggins was a 70 year resident of Queenston. She worked as a teacher at the Laura Secord Public School in Queenston for many years. She became known as the village historian for keeping records of the area's history. She was a charter member of the Queenston Community Association, a member of the Queenston-St. Davids Women's Institute for 56 years as well as a life member of the Local Council of Women in Niagara Falls.
