PUPPETS ARE VERY POPULAR
About 25 children, for the past six weeks, have been having a delightful time at the Library on Wednesdays. They are the Library's first summer activities craft classes, enjoying themselves making puppets. The puppets are made from papier mache, paper bags and envelopes. The children, said Mrs. Gerda Molson, Librarian, were most enthusiastic. She was particularly pleased that most of the children between the ages of 6 and 12, are new to the library and their parents have shown tremendous interest in the exercises.
Mrs. Kerry Burrows, wife of the new Shaw Festival manager, a recent resident of the town, has been assisting the classes, along with library pages Linda Potter and Margaret Warkentine.
