Regulations With Regard to the Issue of Books Passed by the Book Committee, and confirmed at the annual meeting of the Niagara Public Library, Jan 9th, 1903.
1. That only two books and two periodicals be allowed to any member except those in the country but no more than two books in "Fiction" can be taken out, and only one of these to be a new book and in case of a new book to be returned in one week.
2. That library books are neither to be exchanged nor lent, but returned to the Librarian and then placed on the shelf before being taken out again.
3. For the convenience of the Librarian the members are asked to return for the privilege of the open shelf system to carefully return every book taken from the shelf to its proper place.
