"Well beyond incredible courage and determination, the first thing anyone notice in Jeremy is his terrific smile and brilliant sense of humor. While overcoming a life-altering accident, Jeremy's family helped him harness his intense competitive spirit and focus on his rehabilitation on sports. From 1985, or over ten years, Jeremy competed in and won innumerable Provincial, National and International wheel-chair road racing competitions, on the way to ultimately earning 8 World Championship Gold and 2 Bronze medals. In 1992 in Barcelona alone, he established 4 world records. Still, having accomplished so much in sports, Jeremy's enduring legacy will always be simply ... what a great guy he is."
