Reid who extracted the material from various newspapers published between 1810 and 1849.; This original manuscript was in the possession of Edward Phelps of the Weldon Library, University of Western Ontario, who photocopied it for Thomas B. Wilson. From this photocopy, other copies were made and cut up into pieces, which were then re-arranged by Mr. Wilson by the various newspapers to produce the typescript for this volume.
