Erin Township was surveyed and named for Old Ireland. The township was first settled by Nathaniel Rozell in 1820 on Lot 1 on the 7th Line. The book details the first settlers, building of roads, the first railroad, bank and information about some of the prominent families, the McGills and McMillians.
