The Master of Catholic Thought (MCT) at St. Jerome's University is an accredited masters-level program offered on a part-time basis to Catholics who provide leadership in areas such as health care, social services and education. As well, the program is designed to serve Catholics and others who have a personal interest in pursuing a deeper knowledge of and appreciation for the Catholic tradition. The theological foundation provided by the MCT will enrich the work being done by lay persons in their communities and churches.
The program began in the academic year 2005-2006.
SCOPE AND CONTENTS
This subgroup of records for the Master of Catholic Thought program at St. Jerome's University includes correspondence, minutes of meetings, planning materials and program proposals, publicity and fundraising materials, budget and financial information, forms, general information of the program, a few course outlines, and admission procedures.
There is also one guest book for the graduating classes of 2010 and 2011.

St. Jerome's University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, and is situated in the University of Waterloo. It was founded as St. Jerome's College in 1865 by the Congregation of the Resurrection. In 1959, it was granted university status and changed its name to the University of St. Jerome's College. It has been federated with the University of Waterloo since 1960. In 1998, the name was officially changed to St. Jerome's University.
