ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY "Impressively Free" is co-authored by Michael W. Higgins and Kevin Burns. It was published by Paulist Press, Mahwah, N.J. in 2019. The book examines the foundation of Henri Nouwen's diverse vocations: his priesthood. It looks to Nouwen as a postconciliar prophet of a reformed presbyteral model and as an example of a priesthood that is contemporary, nonclerical, enabling, and effective.
